Recycling Technologies’ CEO & Founder Adrian Griffiths joins the 2019 Maserati 100 list of UK innovative entrepreneurs, hand-picked by The Sunday Times and its readers.
Adrian started Recycling Technologies in 2011 to change the story of plastic. He is at the helm of a Company that has developed a machine to recycle plastics back into oil. It creates value from some of the most intractable plastic wastes and removes the drivers for these plastics being tipped into landfills, burnt or ending up in our environment. The company bridges the waste and the chemical sectors and with demand for plastics waste derived oil rapidly growing and plastic recycling drives by governments, brands and retailers gaining momentum, the opportunities are huge. Swindon-based Recycling Technologies is planning to build its first full-scale plant this year.
“This year, the theme is ‘innovators’ as Maserati celebrates 100 entrepreneurs who have contributed original thinking to their industry. … We are recognising entrepreneurs who have had a big idea and converted it into a successful business.”
