James Thomas interviews Adrian Haworth this morning about the recent announcement about Tesco using Recycling Technologies to get rid of non-recyclable plastics.

Adrian Haworth talks about how the company is working with Tescos for a pilot programme with collection points at 10 local Tesco’s stores, where the Swindon community can deposit plastics such as crisp packets, films, black and laminated plastics. The trial collection will then come to our facilities where they will be sorted and recycled. Adrian stated that “our vision is that up to 90% of domestic waste plastic can be recycled” and that this trial is designed to bring awareness to the value of plastic and that it is viable to recycle all plastics.
