An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Process or Chemical Engineer (ideally Chartered status). The role is with an investor backed waste-to energy company who have developed a Pyrolysis process that uses waste plastics as a feedstock.
To help drive my client to a beach-head position in the market by turning the current outline concept design into reality. To manage the commissioning of the 1st key site, capture associated processes and IP then develop the longer term resources required to scale the solution.
1. Successful design, install & commission of 1st customer plant for within 18 months.
– Application of previous process experience to design first working plant from clean sheet.
– Project management of successful install.
– Develop key technical relationships with client to enable further sales
2. Take outline first principal design and turn it into a consistently repeatable reality.
– “Standard” plant design formulation.
– Document and develop process methodology for “standard” install.
– Capture learnings from first install for the creation of an ongoing knowledge platform.
3. Build resources for scalability over 12-24 mths.
– Hire additional Process Engineers and Technicians by end of yr 2.
– Work closely with Technician (train/develop) by end of yr 1.
– Develop resource requirements plan for yrs 1-3.
4. Deliver monthly progress reports that are at least 90% accurate.
5. Design and roll out client training programme to all customers by end of year 2.
